Silver Spring, Md. — A lucky lottery player in Silver Spring won $33,150 after purchasing a FAST PLAY ticket at a local Giant grocery store.
The winning ticket, part of the $2 7-11-21 progressive jackpot game, was sold on March 11 at the Giant located at 13781 Connecticut Avenue. As a result of the sale, the store will receive a $331.50 bonus.
Maryland Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it safely. Prizes exceeding $25,000 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, either by mail or with a scheduled in-person appointment.
The 7-11-21 game launched in April 2024 with 12 progressive jackpot-winning tickets, and seven remain unclaimed.
