SILVER SPRING, Md. — A lucky grocery shopper in Silver Spring won $33,150 after purchasing a FAST PLAY ticket at a local Giant store.
The winning ticket, part of the $2 7-11-21 progressive jackpot game, was bought on March 11 at the Giant grocery store located at 13781 Connecticut Avenue. As a result of the sale, the retailer will receive a $331.50 Lottery bonus.
Maryland Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it safely. Prizes over $25,000 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, either by mail or in person with a scheduled appointment.
The 7-11-21 game launched in April 2024 with 12 progressive jackpot prizes, seven of which remain unclaimed.
