MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. — A 33-year-old man from Warren, Massachusetts, has been convicted of multiple charges related to sending nude photos of himself to an underage teenager in Burlington County, Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced.
On February 26, after just one hour of deliberation, a Superior Court jury found Andrew J. Hall guilty of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Third Degree), Providing Obscene Material to a Minor (Third Degree), and two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact (Fourth Degree). The verdict marks the conclusion of a case that began over two years ago when the victim and her parents reported the disturbing interactions to local authorities.
The investigation, launched in September 2022 by a Burlington County municipal police department, revealed that Hall had initiated contact with the victim through an instant messaging social media platform. What began as an online conversation soon escalated into exchanges of a sexual nature, including nude photos and videos sent between Hall and the minor. Authorities determined that Hall was fully aware of the victim’s age and had even expressed intentions to meet her in person once she reached 16, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Hall was indicted in March 2024, and the case was prosecuted by Burlington County Assistant Prosecutor Katharine Dolin. Specific details about the victim and the interactions have been withheld to protect her privacy.
The Honorable Aimee Belgard, presiding judge, has scheduled Hall’s sentencing for June 6. The convictions carry significant penalties, reflecting the seriousness of the crimes committed against the minor.
