COLUMBUS, O.H. — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the armed robbery of a business in the 1500 block of North High Street, police said.

Officers responded to the scene at 11:08 p.m. on March 5 after a victim reported being confronted in the parking lot by an armed suspect demanding store keys. The suspect then entered the store, stole items from behind the counter, and fled on foot.

A short time later, officers located a stolen vehicle near Cleveland Avenue and East 11th Avenue. They stopped the vehicle at Greenwich Street and Republic Avenue and took the driver, Malaki Lightfoot, 15, into custody. Evidence found in the vehicle connected him to the robbery, and the victim positively identified him at the scene.
