LOVELAND, CO — A 40-year-old trans-activist, aka “Trantifa” has been arrested in connection with multiple acts of vandalism at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, where authorities discovered incendiary devices at the scene, police said.
Lucy Grace Nelson was taken into custody late Monday, February 24, following an extensive investigation that began on January 29, according to the Loveland Police Department. Officers arrested Nelson outside the dealership while she was allegedly in possession of additional incendiary devices and materials linked to the vandalism.
Nelson was booked into the Larimer County Jail on several charges, including the use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony, criminal mischief, and attempted felony criminal mischief. Magistrate Sage set her bond at $100,000.
Authorities said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Denver Field Division is assisting with the case, and federal charges may follow. Investigators are also seeking information on Nelson’s known alias, Justin Thomas Nelson.
