GAITHERSBURG, MD – A Montgomery County man is celebrating a $30,000 FAST PLAY win after purchasing a MONOPOLY™ Game Tokens ticket at a Silver Spring convenience store.
The lucky player, who regularly enjoys scratch-offs and FAST PLAY games, stopped at White Oak Convenience Store at 11407 Lockwood Drive while visiting a friend. Unsure whether his $3 ticket was a winner, he scanned it and received a message instructing him to visit the Maryland Lottery. A store cashier confirmed the ticket was a top-prize winner.
Excited by his win, the Gaithersburg resident immediately called a close friend and mentor before rushing home to secure the ticket. He plans to use his prize money for an international trip to visit family he hasn’t seen in years.
White Oak Convenience Store will receive a $300 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The MONOPOLY™ Game Tokens game, which launched in January 2022, still has five remaining $30,000 top prizes.
