Double shooting on Connecticut Avenue leaves two injured

WASHINGTON D.C. – A search is underway for a suspect who opened fire early Sunday morning in Northwest D.C., leaving two men injured.

At approximately 2:36 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. They found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was conscious and breathing and was transported to a local hospital. Moments later, a second shooting victim, also an adult male, arrived at a hospital. Investigators determined he had been wounded in the same incident.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
