New Jersey man sentenced to five days in jail for DUI

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — A New Jersey man has been sentenced to five days in the Ocean County jail after being convicted of driving under the influence, according to jail records.

Hector Ramos-Juarez, 35, was booked into custody on Thursday on a single charge of driving while intoxicated under New Jersey statute 39:4-50, a disorderly persons offense.

Court records show Ramos-Juarez was sentenced and is being held without bail. His projected release date is Tuesday, though that is subject to change. No additional charges or detainer holds were listed in jail records.
