NEW YORK — Two lucky Powerball players in New York are each $50,000 richer after winning third-tier prizes in the February 17 drawing.

The winning tickets were sold at Link Park, located at 764 Park Avenue in Huntington, and A Plus Mini Market, located at 128 North Main Street in New City.

Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Power Ball selected from a separate field of one to 26. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

The New York Lottery, the largest and most profitable in North America, contributed $3.8 billion to support public schools in fiscal year 2023-2024.
