NEWARK, NJ — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects connected to a stabbing that left a man critically injured last week.
Officers responded around 9 p.m. on February 13 to the 900 block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard for a report of a sick or injured person. They learned that a stabbing victim had been transported to University Hospital by a Good Samaritan. The victim underwent emergency surgery and was later upgraded to stable condition.
Detectives reviewed surveillance footage showing the victim with two men dressed in all black before they walked away heading north on Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard. Photos of the suspects have been released as part of the investigation.
