ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Maryland man delivering ramen soup to his wife also handed her a $30,000 winning lottery ticket.

The couple, who buy scratch-offs as part of a holiday tradition, purchased the $3 Loteria ticket at Davidsonville BP in Anne Arundel County.

The husband, a former military officer, checked a stack of lottery tickets and was stunned to find he had hit the top prize. A trip to a nearby 7-Eleven confirmed the win.

The couple, who work in the hospitality industry, said their previous biggest win was $50.
