NEW YORK — Two lucky lottery players each won $9,079.50 in the TAKE 5 midday drawing on Tuesday, with top-prize tickets sold in both Mineola and Manhattan.
One winning ticket was purchased at Mineola Smoke & Card on Jericho Turnpike, while the other was sold at Raj Newstand on Whitehall Street in Manhattan. The TAKE 5 drawing, held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., selects numbers from a field of one through 39.
Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
