Delaware State Police have arrested 28-year-old Shaquille Campbell of Wilmington in connection with a 2024 robbery at a 7-Eleven in Bear.
The robbery occurred on December 23, 2024, at approximately 7:49 p.m., when troopers responded to reports of an incident at the 7-Eleven located at 1700 Pulaski Highway. According to the investigation, a male suspect approached an employee inside the store and demanded that the cash register be opened. While making the demand, the suspect implied he had a gun and threatened to shoot the employee. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Through investigative efforts, Troop 2 Robbery Detectives identified Campbell as the suspect responsible. Law enforcement, including the Broward Sheriff’s Office V.I.P.E.R. team and the First State Fugitive Task Force, located him in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was taken into custody and later extradited to Delaware on the night of February 6, 2025.
Campbell was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a sixty-six-thousand-dollar cash bond.
