Suspect arrested in Evesham car dealership wheel theft case

EVESHAM, N.J. — A man accused of stealing wheels and tires from multiple new vehicles at a local car dealership has been arrested, the Evesham Township Police Department announced.

On December 9, 2024, officers responded to Burns Honda at 325 N. Route 73 after receiving reports that several new vehicles on the lot had their wheels and tires stolen. Members of the Evesham Investigative Bureau processed the crime scene.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified 26-year-old Franklyn Rodriguez-Santana as a suspect. Police believe he may have committed similar crimes in surrounding jurisdictions. He was charged with fencing, with additional charges expected. Due to his unknown whereabouts, a warrant for his arrest was issued and provided to the U.S. Marshals Service.

On February 7, 2025, the U.S. Marshals successfully apprehended Rodriguez-Santana and turned him over to Evesham detectives. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail, pending his first appearance in Burlington County Superior Court.
