ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside an Allentown after-hours club, authorities announced Saturday.
Pedro Junior Paulino, 35, surrendered to police and faces multiple charges, including criminal homicide, attempted murder, and aggravated assault. He was arraigned and taken to Lehigh County Jail without bail.
Paulino is the second suspect charged in the Feb. 2 shooting outside BKK Lounge on Union Boulevard. Police previously arrested David Isiah Rivera, 26, less than 12 hours after the incident.
Officers responded to the club around 4 a.m. and found four people shot, including three men and a woman. One of the victims, 32-year-old Ivan Diaz Jr. of Lower Macungie Township, died from multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide by the Lehigh County Coroner.
Club staff told police a dispute inside the venue led to security removing those involved. Investigators said Rivera and Paulino were identified as the shooters through security footage, distinctive tattoos, and social media posts. Paulino was caught on video retrieving a handgun from a car and firing toward the victims.
Authorities confirmed Paulino was prohibited from possessing a firearm and did not have a valid license to carry a concealed weapon.
Both suspects remain in custody as the investigation continues.
