MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ – A joint investigation by the New Jersey State Police and the Monroe Township Police Department has led to the arrest of two individuals linked to a series of burglaries across multiple jurisdictions.
Authorities executed a search warrant in Millstone, recovering stolen property worth over $100,000, including equipment from two landscape trailers, high-end vehicles, and other valuable items.
David Takacs of Millstone and a juvenile suspect were taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft in connection with the string of crimes. Officials say the suspects allegedly stole landscaping equipment and vehicles in what has become a significant case in the region.
“We are grateful for the partnership between the New Jersey State Police and the Monroe Township Police Department in bringing those responsible to justice,” said Chief Griffin Banos. “This case highlights the continued commitment of law enforcement to protecting our communities and addressing criminal activity in a swift and effective manner.”
Authorities continue to investigate whether the suspects may be connected to additional crimes in the area.
