Fox News Host Says Resettle 2 Million Palestinian Refugees in United States

NEW YORK, NY — Fox News co-host Jessica Tarlov sparked debate during a broadcast this week by suggesting that former President Donald Trump should resettle the more than 2 million Palestinians in Gaza within the United States.

Tarlov made the remarks while discussing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, arguing that if the U.S. is committed to aiding the region, it should consider taking in refugees. “And if he is such a humanitarian, then you take those 2 million people and bring them here to the U.S., which is the country you are in charge of, and you resettle them,” Tarlov said.

Co-host Jesse Watters responded sarcastically, suggesting that some could be sent to Greenland. Tarlov countered by emphasizing that the U.S. should take greater responsibility if it intends to intervene in the crisis. “If you are the one who’s going to drop in and save everybody … don’t you have to put some of your money where your mouth is?” she said.

Watters pushed back, noting that “we have funded Gaza more than anyone.” Tarlov then questioned what should be done for “the good people” caught in the conflict.

Tarlov’s remarks have ignited discussion about U.S. involvement in Gaza and whether the country should accept refugees from the war-torn region.
