22-Year-Old Injured in Central Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A 22-year-old man was shot in Central Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, prompting an investigation by Central District shooting detectives.

At approximately 4:28 p.m. on February 4, officers responded to the 900 block of N. Eden Street following a ShotSpotter alert. Shortly after arriving at the scene, officers were notified that a 22-year-old male had arrived at an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the shooting occurred in the same block where officers had responded. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed, but the investigation remains active.
