EAST CANTON, OH — A Powerball ticket purchased in East Canton turned into a $150,000 windfall for Fred, who matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball in the January 29 drawing.

Fred bought his winning ticket at Top of the Mark Drive Thru, located at 4135 E Lincoln St. He selected his own numbers, matching 8, 12, 31, 33, and 38, along with the Powerball number 18.

The third-tier prize of $50,000 was tripled to $150,000 thanks to Fred also matching the Power Play number, which was 3.

The next Powerball drawing, scheduled for Wednesday, features an estimated jackpot of $113 million.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education across the state.
