Upper Marlboro, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested and charged a man in connection with a fatal stabbing on Sunday evening. The suspect, William Tebo, 24, from Upper Marlboro, is accused of murdering Tyrone Hager, 43, also from Upper Marlboro.

On February 2, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to a reported fight in the 11000 block of Croom Road. The victim was found inside a vehicle with multiple stab wounds and later died at a hospital.

Detectives identified Tebo as the suspect and arrested him shortly after the incident. The preliminary investigation suggests that Tebo stabbed Hager during a dispute, and the two men did not appear to know each other beforehand.

William Tebo is charged with first-degree murder and related offenses and is in the custody of the Department of Corrections. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is encouraged to contact the Homicide Unit or Crime Solvers.
