One dead, three injured in shooting outside Allentown nightclub

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning outside the BKK Lounge, police said.

Officers and paramedics responded to the nightclub at 1500 Union Boulevard around 4 a.m. and found four victims with gunshot wounds. All were transported to a local hospital, where one victim died from their injuries. The remaining three are expected to survive.

Police said the shooting followed a fight between two groups inside the nightclub, which escalated into the parking lot. Security was attempting to break up the altercation when multiple gunshots were fired.

The Allentown Police Department, along with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, is investigating the incident. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
