WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 16-year-old male from Southeast D.C. has been arrested and charged with armed robbery following an incident that took place in November, the Metropolitan Police Department announced Friday.
The robbery occurred on Saturday, November 2, around 2:45 p.m., when the suspect met the victim in the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast, for a property sale. During the meeting, the suspect allegedly brandished a handgun, stole the victim’s property, and fled the scene.
After an investigation, the suspect was apprehended on Thursday, January 30, under a DC Superior Court custody order. He has been charged with Armed Robbery (Gun).
The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to gather additional information.
