CINCINNATI, Ohio — A lottery player in Cincinnati has won $10 million on the Ohio Lottery’s Extreme Millions scratch-off, officials announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at Dent Shell, located at 6008 Harrison Ave. The winner opted for the cash payout of $5 million, which amounts to approximately $3.6 million after state and federal taxes.
Extreme Millions is a $30 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $400,000 annually for 25 years. As of Jan. 28, one top prize remains unclaimed.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
