Armed suspect targets victim in Hill East as police hunt for leads

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect remains at large after an armed robbery in Hill East on Sunday afternoon, where a victim was threatened at gunpoint and had their belongings stolen.

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. in the 400 block of 11th Street, Northeast, just north of 7 River Mart. The suspect brandished a handgun, took the victim’s property, and fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured images of both the suspect and their vehicle, which authorities are now using in their search efforts.
