Reavis, who resides in Wythe County, contributes to a tradition of Lottery winners helping fund education in Virginia. Last fiscal year, Wythe County received more than $3.9 million in Lottery profits for K-12 education. Statewide, the Virginia Lottery raised over $934 million for education in Fiscal Year 2024, accounting for approximately 10% of the Commonwealth’s public school budget.
