NEW PHILADELPHIA, OH — An Ohio Lottery player won $50,000 after purchasing a VIP Millions scratch-off ticket at Marty’s Coaches Corner, located at 323 E High Ave, lottery officials announced Monday.
After federal and state taxes, which total 28%, the winner will take home approximately $36,000. The VIP Millions scratch-off, a $50 ticket, offers a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years, with 47 top prizes still available as of Jan. 27.
Marty’s Coaches Corner earns recognition for selling the winning ticket, adding to its reputation as a lucky spot for lottery players.
The Ohio Lottery, established in 1974, has contributed over $33 billion to fund education throughout the state.
