BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Residents near Lake Riviera Park may notice an increased police presence today as officers participate in ice water rescue training, the Brick Township Police Department announced.
The training exercises involve police vehicles and personnel operating in and around the lake throughout the day. The department emphasized that the activities are part of a scheduled training session to enhance first responder readiness.
“For the safety of yourself and the first responders participating, please refrain from interacting or interfering with the training,” the department stated in an announcement on social media.
Authorities also encouraged residents to share the information to reduce unnecessary concern about the visible police activity in the area.
