Teenager missing from Bronx home, NYPD asks for public's help

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager last seen in the Bronx on Friday morning.

Jailyn Gray, a 16-year-old Black female, was reported missing after she left her residence on Howe Avenue within the 43rd Precinct at approximately 7:20 a.m. on January 17, 2025.

Gray is described as having black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants, black shoes, and a black-and-white hat.

The circumstances of her disappearance have not been disclosed, but police are continuing to investigate and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
