Rachel Vindman, Wife of Trump Impeachment Witness Has Social Media Meltdown After Not Being Pardoned by Biden

In a Bluesky post, Rachel Vindman, wife of retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, expressed profound disappointment over the absence of a pardon for her husband from President Joe Biden. She stated, “Whatever happens to my family, know this: No pardons were offered or discussed. I cannot begin to describe the level of betrayal and hurt I feel.”

President Biden has recently exercised his clemency powers extensively, commuting the sentences of nearly 2,500 individuals convicted of nonviolent drug offenses, marking the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history.

Today, Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and the January 6th Committee, including Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff.

Despite this, Alexander Vindman was not among those pardoned.

Alexander Vindman gained national attention in 2019 when he testified during President Donald Trump’s first impeachment inquiry. His testimony centered on a phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump allegedly pressured Zelensky to investigate political rival Joe Biden. Following his testimony, Vindman faced professional repercussions, including his removal from the National Security Council and subsequent retirement from the military.
