PASADENA, Md. — A Baltimore man was arrested Friday evening after police found a loaded handgun and suspected cocaine in his vehicle during an investigation in Pasadena, authorities said.
At approximately 8:55 p.m. on January 17, 2025, an officer patrolling the 8100 block of Evening Star Drive observed a man matching the description of a suspect in a prior assault. According to police, a black 2014 Honda Odyssey linked to the suspect had a handgun visible in plain view inside the vehicle.
The suspect, identified as Dashon Stewart, 34, of Baltimore, allegedly became disorderly, obstructing the officer’s investigation. Stewart was taken into custody, and a search warrant was later obtained for the vehicle.
During the search, police recovered a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun, approximately 27 grams of suspected cocaine, digital scales, and drug packaging paraphernalia.
Stewart faces multiple charges, including weapons violations and controlled dangerous substance (CDS) offenses. Police have not disclosed whether the investigation is connected to the assault for which the suspect was initially sought.
