NEW YORK, N.Y. — Two lucky New Yorkers are celebrating $16,074 TAKE 5 jackpot wins after the evening drawing on Jan. 14, with winning tickets sold in Brooklyn and West Hempstead.

The Brooklyn ticket was purchased at Buckley’s Market on Nassau Avenue, while the second jackpot ticket was sold at Bolla 820 Hempstead C-Store on Hempstead Avenue in Long Island.

The winning numbers drawn were 4, 17, 18, 19, and 27. To claim the jackpot, TAKE 5 players must match all five numbers, with each game costing only $1.

Drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and players are advised to double-check their tickets at nylottery.ny.gov to see if they’ve hit a jackpot in the midday or evening draws.
