FORKED RIVER, NJ — Rascal, a six-year-old cat with a gentle heart, is back at the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter after losing his loving owner. Adopted in 2019, Rascal lived a happy life, but now finds himself heartbroken and confused as he waits for a new family to give him the home he desperately needs.
Shelter staff describe Rascal as a sweet and shy soul who misses the comfort, love, and security of his former life. Despite his sadness, his spirit remains gentle, and he’s hopeful someone will open their heart and home to him.
Rascal is patiently waiting at the shelter, longing for a fresh start and a chance to feel loved again. Shelter representatives are encouraging potential adopters to apply and help give Rascal the happy ending he deserves.
