NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to a series of violent robberies involving a motorized scooter across Brooklyn and Queens.
Between November 7 and December 10, 2024, at least 11 incidents were reported in the 83rd, 75th, and 104th precincts. In each case, a male suspect on a motorized scooter approached victims, brandished a knife or blunt object, and forcibly stole valuables, including cellphones, wallets, cash, and jewelry.

In several incidents, the suspect forced victims to unlock their phones under threat of violence. The robberies occurred in areas such as Wilson Avenue, Fulton Street, Norwood Avenue, Ridgewood Avenue, and Starr Street, often in the early morning hours.
Police describe the suspect as operating blue, black, or dark-colored motorized scooters during the attacks. No injuries beyond threats and physical intimidation have been reported.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD as the investigation remains ongoing.
