COLUMBUS, OH — The Columbus Division of Police is asking for the public’s assistance following a series of unprovoked assaults on North High Street in the city’s Short North District late last month.
On December 28, 2024, around 9:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of multiple pedestrians being punched without warning while walking along North High Street near East 2nd Avenue. One victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of facial injuries.
