ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Allentown Police Department has launched an investigation after a noose-like object was found on an employee’s desk at City Hall early Friday morning.
Police were notified of the incident around 7:30 a.m. on January 10, 2025. Authorities have not released details about the employee or the circumstances surrounding the discovery but confirmed the item closely resembled a noose.
“This matter is being taken seriously and is under active investigation,” the department said in a statement.
