26-Year-Old Survives Early Morning Shooting in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 26-year-old man was shot twice in the left forearm during a roadway shooting near the 4400 block of Parrish Street on Thursday morning, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 9:27 a.m. in Philadelphia’s 16th District, prompting a swift response from police.

The victim was transported to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition, according to police.

An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting, though no weapons have been recovered from the scene, which remains secured by authorities.
