Young Eagles fans cited for underage drinking outside Lincoln Financial Field

PHILADELPHIA — Pennsylvania State Police cited five individuals for underage drinking during a liquor enforcement patrol near Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

The patrol, conducted by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, took place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Lot K, a popular tailgating area near the stadium. Officers issued four citations for underage drinking, including three to minors and one to a juvenile. In a separate enforcement action during the same timeframe, an additional minor was cited for underage drinking in the same area.

The citations were issued under Pennsylvania’s Crimes Code Section 6308(a), which prohibits individuals under 21 from consuming alcohol. These actions were part of routine patrols aimed at ensuring compliance with state liquor laws at large public events.

The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement noted that such patrols are conducted regularly during major events to prevent alcohol-related incidents. Additional details about the enforcement activity were not disclosed.
