Man shot in neck drives himself to hospital in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 27-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the neck early Sunday in Baltimore’s Southern District, police said.

The incident was reported around 12:23 a.m. when the victim arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for his injuries. He told investigators he was in the 1600 block of Inverness Avenue when an unidentified suspect shot him.

According to police, the victim drove himself to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

Southern District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to identify the suspect.
