WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect armed with a handgun robbed a business in Northwest D.C. on Saturday night, fleeing the scene with stolen cash, police said.
The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. in the 500 block of K Street, Northwest. According to investigators, the suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from an employee. The employee complied, and the suspect escaped with the money.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect during the robbery, and authorities have released images in hopes of identifying the individual.
