JAMAICA, QUEENS — A 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times during a physical altercation early Monday morning in Queens, according to police reports.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near 95-35 Sutphin Boulevard. Police said the victim was approached by an unidentified individual, and a physical confrontation ensued. During the altercation, the assailant used an unknown object to stab the victim in the neck, chest, and back.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim was transported by private means to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

The motive for the attack remains unclear, and no arrests have been made.
