TRENTON, NJ – A Burlington County player scored a $50,000 Powerball win in the Dec. 23 drawing, just in time for Festivus celebrations. The ticket was sold at Pac a Sack on Main Street in Lumberton.
The winning numbers were 22, 42, 44, 57, and 64, with the Powerball 18 and Power Play multiplier 2X. Although no one claimed the jackpot, currently at $117 million, the Lumberton ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball to earn its five-figure prize.
The Double Play feature, an additional option for Powerball players, also had no top-prize winner in its Dec. 23 drawing. The Double Play numbers were 16, 49, 62, 63, and 68, with a Double Play ball of 10.
Players in New Jersey are reminded to check their tickets and sign the back of any winning ticket immediately. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday.
