Pennsylvania player wins $1 million Mega Millions prize

MIDDLETOWN, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in Crawford County secured a $1 million prize in the Friday, Dec. 20 Mega Millions® drawing as the jackpot climbs to $944 million for Tuesday.

The winning ticket, sold at Country Fair on Penn Street in Linesville, matched all five white balls—2, 20, 51, 56, and 67—but missed the yellow Mega Ball number 19. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The $1 million prize is among several wins in Pennsylvania for Friday’s drawing, which saw over 122,400 tickets across the state claim smaller prizes. Of those, more than 22,600 were purchased with the Megaplier® option, further increasing their winnings.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes and must validate their tickets before the payout is made. Lottery officials remind players to sign the back of their tickets and check them carefully.

With no jackpot winner on Friday, the Mega Millions prize pool has grown to an estimated $944 million, with a cash value of $429.4 million, for Tuesday night’s drawing.
