ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — Automated speed enforcement cameras will go live at three additional locations in Anne Arundel County starting December 21, the county police department announced. These cameras will operate 24/7, with citations issued after a 15-day warning period.
The new camera locations are:
- 4700 block of Sands Road, Harwood
- 2200 block of Johns Hopkins Road, Crofton
- 400 block of Queenstown Road, Severn
The initiative expands the county’s Automated Traffic Enforcement Speed Program, aimed at improving road safety by encouraging compliance with speed limits. Drivers can view a full list of active camera locations and learn more about the program on the Anne Arundel County Police Department website.
The new enforcement measures reflect ongoing efforts to reduce speeding and enhance safety on county roads.
