BALTIMORE, MD — While no one hit the Mega Millions jackpot in the December 17 drawing, three Maryland players are celebrating $10,000 wins after purchasing third-tier winning tickets in Baltimore, Fort Washington, and District Heights.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 56, 66, 67, 68, and 69, with a Mega Ball of 18 and a 4x Megaplier prize multiplier. The lucky tickets were sold at Wawa #8511 on Boston Street in Baltimore, Silesia Convenience on Livingston Road in Fort Washington, and Wawa #8537 on Brooks Drive in District Heights.
The jackpot for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing has now rolled to an estimated $825 million, with a cash option of $382.2 million. If won, it would be the largest Mega Millions prize ever claimed in December and the seventh largest in the game’s history.
Maryland Lottery officials are reminding all winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep them secure, and claim their prizes within 182 days.
With the jackpot reaching historic levels, excitement builds as players prepare for Friday’s highly anticipated drawing.
