STAFFORD, Va. — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released its latest daily incident report on Tuesday, detailing a series of arrests involving disorderly conduct, driving under the influence, and public intoxication over a two-day period.

Deputies responded to Walmart on Village Parkway early Monday morning after reports of a woman screaming at random customers and threatening employees. According to Deputy F.C. O’Neill, the suspect resisted arrest but was ultimately detained and charged with disorderly conduct. She is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.

Several DUI arrests were reported over the weekend, including one at the Hollywood Church of Brethren early Sunday. Deputy D.S. Jett stopped a swerving vehicle and found the driver, who admitted to drinking “three beers,” did not have a license. The suspect was charged with multiple violations, including DUI and driving without a license, and is being held on a $2,000 secured bond.

Another DUI arrest occurred on Sunday night near Richmond Highway and Telegraph Road, where a driver told Deputy J.J. Suh that she was swerving because she was “drunk.” The driver admitted to drinking five beers and was found to have a blood alcohol content above .2. She is being held at the jail until sober.

Deputies also arrested a driver near Kings Highway and Cool Springs Road on Monday evening. The driver, who reportedly said she was on her way to CVS to pick up “meth,” was charged with DUI after failing sobriety tests. Deputies noted that she later remarked they had “saved [her] life.”

In a separate incident, a man was arrested for public intoxication at the Bearded Monkey restaurant early Sunday morning. Deputy R.L. Beasley described the suspect as belligerent and attempting to start fights. He was taken into custody and held until sober.

Sheriff’s deputies continue to emphasize public safety through quick responses to disturbances, intoxication, and reckless driving.
