SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, N.Y. — A Take 5 Evening top-prize ticket worth $29,123.50 was sold in Springfield Gardens for the December 15 drawing, the New York Lottery announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at The Great Supermarket, located at 222-16 144th Avenue, and matched all five numbers drawn from a field of one through 39.
Take 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and offer players the chance to win top prizes by matching all five numbers.
Lottery officials reminded winners that prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date and encouraged players to check their tickets.
