WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed victims at gunpoint Saturday afternoon in Southeast Washington before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. in the 1700 block of A Street, Southeast, where the victims reported being approached by a man who brandished a handgun and demanded their property. The suspect reportedly took the items and escaped.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspect, and police are urging the public to review the footage. The suspect’s identity remains unknown.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the robbery.
