ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A domestic violence suspect was arrested after a foot pursuit on December 14, during which Atlantic City police officers discovered a loaded handgun in his possession.

The suspect, Devin Brown, 23, of Atlantic City, was wanted in connection to a November 29 incident in which he entered a woman’s residence on the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue, forcing her to lock herself in a bathroom. According to police, Brown, who had been in a relationship with the victim, destroyed her belongings and had assaulted her the day prior.

Officers Michael Regalbuto and Glen Robinson located Brown in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue on December 14. Brown attempted to evade arrest by running and trying to board a New Jersey Transit bus. The officers apprehended him after a brief struggle, finding the loaded handgun in his pocket.

Brown faces multiple charges, including three counts of aggravated assault, terrorist threats, criminal mischief, unlawful possession of a weapon, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
