CINCINNATI, Ohio – A lucky Ohio Lottery player in Cincinnati has claimed a $1 million top prize after purchasing a winning Billion scratch-off ticket at Price Hill Petroleum on Glenway Avenue.

The winner opted for the cash payout of $500,000. After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings of 28 percent, the player will take home approximately $360,000.

Billion is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $1 million annually for 20 years. As of Dec. 13, three top prizes remain unclaimed in the game.

The popular Billion scratch-off ticket is part of the Ohio Lottery’s lineup, which has contributed more than $32 billion to education programs across the state since 1974.
