BELLEVILLE, N.J. — Officers from the Belleville Police Department joined the community in celebrating the holiday season during the Township Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday at Belleville High School.
The department played a central role in the event, ensuring public safety while also connecting with residents by handing out 750 cups of hot chocolate and 500 hot dogs throughout the night. The festive evening was marked by clear weather and lively interactions between officers and attendees.
Chief Mark Minichini was recognized for his contributions, providing the hot chocolate and hot dogs that added to the festive atmosphere. The police department expressed gratitude to the community for their participation, noting that the evening was a success thanks to the strong turnout.
